Next year will be a defining moment for Apple and the iPhone; it’s the
tenth anniversary of the device. To mark a decade of iPhones what does
Apple have in store to mark a decade of iPhones? The current rumor is
that Apple could be looking at a larger 5.8-inch OLED panel for the
iPhone 8. The current iPhone 7 Plus has a 5.5-inch 1080p LCD. Apple is
rumored to be toying with “bezel-less” designs, which could deliver a
larger display in the same footprint as the current iPhone 7 Plus. A
display of that size is still going to be somewhat uncomfortable to use,
so it’s all going to come down to ergonomics and palm rejection.
Reports also suggest that Apple could be looking at using a curved OLED
panel, a design pioneered by Samsung
